Two words about me and the blog

Welcome on my blog, dear Reader!

If you came across my blog, I assume you're somehow interested in exchange programs or just living and studying abroad. I'm hoping that my blog will help you find answers for your questions and bring a hint of entertainment.
To introduce myself a little bit: my name is Julia and I'm from Warsaw, Poland. In the schoolyear of 2015/2016 I took part in a ten-month-long exchange program in the United States of America. I've done the exchange through the company called ISE (International Student Exchange).
I was placed in the city of Yakima, which is located in central part of Washington State. As for the school, I attended the 2016 Senior class at A.C. Davis High School.

I love writing. I have written down a lot of thoughts and cooked up a lot of stories regarding my time in the U.S., but it's not until now, over two years after I'd begun the exchange program, that I felt I need to share my experience with other people out there. For all of you, if you are somehow interested in an exchange program (or you know you will participate in one, or you're abroad at the moment, or you already unfortunately call yourself a former exchange student), or if you are interested in what it's like to live and study abroad, or if you're American and would like to find out what's the foreigner's perspective at what you consider ordinary, or if you are just a lost web wanderer - I hope you will find this blog helpful and entertaining.

Please feel free to contact me through the e-mail or the contact form if you'd like to share your thoughts, or if you have any questions and suggestions. I will be happy to provide you with whatever feedback you need.
